Renzo Marasca was born in 1977, in Jesi (Ancona, IT).
Since 2015, the artist lives and works in Lisbon. After his first training as a restorer of paintings at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata (Italy), Renzo decided to cancel his studies as restorer to pursue his artistic research more autonomously.
Marasca further explored the painting studies at the Residències of Piramidon Centre d’Art Contemporani in Barcelona (2014) and at LA54 in Berlin (2012).
He received different awards, including the Ora Prize, Venice (2013), Celeste Prize, Milan (2009) and Molotti Prize, Milan (2004).

Furthermore, Renzo Marasca is the author of the publication Senza Titolo, Edizioni Inaudite (Turin, 2014). Renzo’ works are part of the public collections of the Italian Embassy of San Marino Republic and of the Italian Art Museum Benghazi, Libya, as well as part of different Italian and Portuguese private collections.
